What two dollars buy

The source article lists the bundles and their prices. We look at it from one angle: what exactly a person is paying for, when every individual model is available today at no cost.

The question worth asking first

Any language model can write a poem. Any image generator can draw a picture. Composing a tune is hardly rare either. All of it exists separately, often for free, and a person could assemble a gift in one evening.

So it is not the capability being sold. What is being sold is the thing scattered tools do not have: a sequence in which one model's output becomes the next model's input, and nobody drops the thread along the way.

Two doors into the same room

There are two entrances at once. The first is the Telegram bot @AIfaCreativityBot: a command, a conversation, a finished result in the chat. The second is a Mini App inside the same Telegram, called AIfa Studio and written in Next.js: an ordinary window with buttons for people who would rather see an interface than type commands.

The decision looks mundane, but it removes the main objection to bots. A bot is fine while the task is short; once there are five steps, the chat turns into porridge. A window with buttons untangles it without making the person leave the app they are already in.

What the price tag covers

The romantic bundle costs $1.99, or 120 Telegram Stars. The person describes how they met, the moments that mattered, the private jokes — and receives not one text but a set in which everything rests on the same details.

The mystical bundle is $2.49, or 150 Stars. Inside is a three-card tarot spread on the past-present-future pattern, and what is built around it. The logic is the same: the cards fall once, and everything else explains that particular spread rather than an abstract one.

The living musical card is $2.99, or 180 Stars — the most expensive item. A model writes lyrics for the occasion, then music and video generation join in. It costs more not because it is «premium» but because sound and video demand incomparably more computation than text.

The AIfa+ subscription is $4.99 a month, or 300 Stars. The arithmetic is plain: cheaper than two one-off bundles. It pays off for someone who gives gifts regularly and does not pay off for someone who came once — and that is an honest boundary.

The free part is not bait here

Two entries in the catalogue cost nothing: the couple mode and date reminders. The second is more interesting than it looks: it solves not «make a gift» but «do not miss the moment».

People forget not because they do not want to send greetings, but because the date does not surface in time. A service that remembers dates happens to be nearby exactly when a gift is needed. It is sensibly arranged on both sides: the reminder is useful in itself, even if nothing is bought.

Why the result goes into permanent storage

What is generated is placed on Arweave. At first glance that is excessive: a greeting is a single-use thing, what does it need eternity for.

But habit makes it single-use, not nature. A paper card from a grandmother survives in a box for decades precisely because there is nowhere else to put it. A file in a messenger disappears when the phone changes, and nobody even notices. The difference is not in value but in the fact that one has a place and the other does not.

Permanent storage gives a digital gift the property of a paper one: it stops depending on whether the phone is intact and the app still runs. It is the same idea the whole project stands on, simply applied to something small.

What to keep in mind

The mobile application in Google Play was, at the time of the article, an announcement rather than a published program. The difference matters: an announcement does not mean it can be installed tomorrow.

And the caveat without which this would be advertising: a pipeline of several models does not make the result good by itself. It makes it coherent. The poem, the picture and the music will be about the same thing — and will stay exactly as moving as the details the person supplied. The tool will not invent their story; it can only avoid losing the one it was given.
